Sligo got the better start going in at half time with a good lead. 88ers came back into the game in the 2nd half and brought the game right down to the wire. Tara Duffy levelled the game with a free throw and 14 seconds left on the clock. Sligo back in possession drew the foul and got back on the free throw line to score 1 with 3 seconds left. Unfortunately not enough time for our girls to work a score. Hard luck to the girls but thanks for the drama and excitement… yet again.
